This week: Artist talks, fine-art jewelry

November 2. “Just Jackie.” Spend an evening at the Spelman College Museum of Art with Jacqueline Tarry, who will discuss the dynamics of her artistic collaboration with husband Bradley McCallum, their video “Evenly Yoked” in their Spelman show and their recent work. 6:30 p.m.

November 4. “Art in Research, Research in Art,” a panel discussion with Joey Orr, Teresa Bramlette-Reeves, Anna Grimshaw and Lynn Marshall-Linnemeier at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, complements “Discursive Documents: Performing the Catalogue” by John Q, in the MOCA GA Education/Resource Center. 6:30 p.m. reception, 7 p.m. discussion.

November 5 and 6. The Atlanta Contemporary Jewelry Show at the DeFoor Centre showcases the work of 25 fine-art jewelers from across the country. 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Sunday. The exhibition coincides with a week-long jewelry symposium at the Spruill Center for the Arts.
