Andrew Forrest Baker is a writer and text-based visual artist living in Atlanta, Georgia. When he is not writing about himself in the third person, he enjoys exploring death, philosophy, and the magic of the American South as a living entity. He has published one novel, Hymn, and two short story collections, Roast: a short story and We Tremble As We Sink. His short stories and poetry have appeared in Loose Change Magazine, Two Schools, and elsewhere. He received his BFA in Creative Writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is the co-founder of the Parallel Georgia Project, an organization seeking to give a voice, resources, and connections to self-taught artists throughout the state.
