Now’s your chance to support ArtsATL in our mission to cover Atlanta’s arts

ArtsATL’s annual fund goes directly to paying our programming’s most valuable asset — our writers. These are the voices that you have come to know and trust since we published our first story in 2009: people like Andrew Alexander, Gail O’Neill and Mark Gresham, who diligently review our institution’s programming to help broaden your perspective and interpretation of the arts.

ArtsATL contributors Christina Lee and Virginie Kippelen.

And our contributor-base is growing. In the past year, we’ve brought an even wider array of perspectives to the fold, publishing nearly 700 stories about Atlanta’s theater, dance, literary, film, music, architecture and art communities. We do this because we know that arts coverage is a crucial part of our arts ecosystem, but we can’t continue to do it without your help.

“When there is a way to measure, then growth is possible. One of the primary reasons our Atlanta arts community is growing is the excellent measures of arts criticism and reporting provided by the passionate, dedicated and expert journalists of ArtsATL,” said Tom Key, artistic director of Theatrical Outfit. “On the level of quality of the New York Times or the New Yorker for arts coverage, ArtsATL is steadily and deeply providing the criticism that inspires and instructs our artists toward excellence and connects our audiences with Atlanta arts as a primary and essential community resource.”

Your support helps us increase the amount of content we can provide, and aids in the associated costs of running the online publication. We hope you will consider making a donation to ArtsATL’s Annual Fund to support this critical resource.

Help us provide you with the coverage you and the institutions you love need.
