The High Museum of Art is offering a free preview of its new show, “Leonardo da Vinci: Hand of the Genius,” on Monday, Oct. 5. The hours are noon to 7 p.m.; the last entry is at 6 p.m. There are no advance reservations.
Having just previewed it myself, I can tell you that you won’t want to miss it. It can be enjoyed on many levels, from purely visual (little studies that will knock your socks off, sculptures by Renaissance greats) to the window it provides on the creative process.
“Leonardo” opens Oct. 6.
