Why are we here? What’s your best memory? What will humans look like in a million years?

Got answers to these questions? The award-winning Atlanta-based podcast company HowStuffWorks wants to hear from you. The company’s new “Question Booth” will take up residence inside Atlanta Gallery Collective, the pop-up art gallery on the second floor of Atlanta’s Ponce City Market.

The free audio booth will be open to the public for recording on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., with no reservations required. Every week, HowStuffWorks will post a different question at the booth. Producers will be on hand to drive the conversation with follow-up questions, while large viewing windows on every side will allow visitors to watch the live recording in progress. The booth’s opening day, November 14, coincides with Listen Up, a celebration of arts and culture hosted by HowStuffWorks inside Atlanta Gallery Collective.

HowStuffWorks — which produces shows such as Stuff You Should Know, Stuff You Missed in History Class, Part-Time Genius, Ridiculous History and Movie Crush — is headquartered at Ponce City Market, with studios in Los Angeles and New York. After the initial collaboration, HowStuffWorks and Jamestown, which manages Ponce City Market, plan to explore the installation of more Question Booths across the country to take the project nationwide.
