Flux Night will take a year off. The evening of public art and performance, which has taken place in the Castleberry Hill District since 2010, will return on Saturday, October 3, 2015.

The hiatus will give organizers and artists more time to plan and create projects and allow for more community engagement through workshops and other events. “There will also be more chances for our audience to preview projects and get to know the artists,”says Anne Dennington, executive director of Flux Projects.

A curator for Flux Night 2015 will be announced this spring, and the selection of artists will begin shortly thereafter.  An open call for proposals is expected to be issued this fall.
