When Laura Patricia Calle died of kidney disease last week at the age of at 26, Atlanta lost a beloved and energetic member of the art community. It is fitting that her friends and family have chosen to honor Calle, who was programming director for Living Walls, with a mural portrait. Painted by Newark-based artist Lunar New Year, Calle’s pensive face is writ large on the exterior of 97 Estoria at 727 Wylie Street, SE.
