Movies galore and other calendar highlights, February 5–16

Cinephiles will be spoiled for choice for the next couple of weeks. To wit:

The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival continues its 23-day run through February 20.

The Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) will host its first film festival, offering four films this weekend.

The Atlanta Cyclorama and Civil War Museum kicks off its year-long commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Atlanta with a screening of February One: The Story of the Greensboro Four, a documentary about the 1960 lunch counter sit-in.

Emory Cinematheque will show films by Senegalese director Ousmane Sembene, a pioneer of African filmmaking.
