The Possible Futures foundation has awarded ArtsATL.com a $20,000 challenge grant. To receive these matching funds, we must raise $20,000 on our own by December 31.
“ArtsATL is the only publication in Atlanta that covers all the arts, all the time,” says Louis Corrigan, founder of Possible Futures, who is also ArtsATL’s board chairman. “It’s an essential component of the city’s entire creative ecosystem and serves a vital role in educating a broad public.”
We are the only publication devoted solely to coverage of the broad spectrum of the arts in metro Atlanta: visual art, music, theater, dance, books and film. We provide the most coverage as well, publishing approximately 50 articles a month, ranging from reviews and interviews to important news about people and organizations. ArtsATL.com is the link between local arts organizations and the larger community of readers and consumers. As such, we play an important role in supporting the organizations that are important to you and in contributing to the health of the Atlanta artistic community.
Ad revenue covers less than half of our budget, which goes largely to paying writers and other staff members. Our ability to continue to serve you and the community depends on your response to this fund-raising campaign. If you care about the arts and the cultural life of our city, we hope you will consider making a donation. We would most appreciate your support, in any amount. ArtsATL.com is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
