First WonderRoot, now the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia. The High Museum of Art is really getting into this partnering, community-building thing.
The White Lady on Peachtree has announced that it will host an exhibition highlighting selected paintings and drawings from MOCA GA’s permanent collection. Among the artists to be represented are Larry Jens Anderson, Don Cooper, Herbert Creecy, Kojo Griffin, Medford Johnston, Katherine Mitchell, Larry Walker and Rocio Rodriguez.
The exhibition, co-curated by Annette Cone-Skelton, director of MOCA GA, and Michael Rooks, the High’s Wieland Family Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, will be on view from September 2, 2011, through February 5, 2012.
