Living Walls, the organization responsible for so many of the murals that bedeck the city, begins its annual conference on Wednesday. The event, which runs through August 18, includes films, lectures parties and a bike tour.
The main event is, of course, the new murals to be added to Atlanta’s collection. In addition to the eight Atlanta artists who are contributing murals, a dozen more from Europe, South Africa, Israel and South America are painting the town.
Information on these events and more can be found among Ed Hall’s highlights and on WABE’s website, Atlanta Planit – a click away on our calendar page.
