News: Center for Civil and Human Rights picks Atlanta, California firms as landscape architects

The Center for Civil and Human Rights has selected EDAW Atlanta and Hood Design of Oakland, California, as the landscape designers for its future facility just north of the Coca-Cola Museum in downtown Atlanta.

EDAW’s William Gilchrist will serve as the primary consultant and be responsible for the contract document and construction administration phases. Walter Hood Jr. of Hood Design will guide the team’s efforts through the schematic design and development phases.

EDAW, which has (forgive us) deep roots in Atlanta, designed nearby Centennial Olympic Park and worked with artist Curtis Patterson to design the Andrew Young tribute in Walton Spring Park.
